February 19, 2012 (8 & 11 am) is Our National Congress Day. Our speaker will be Dr. George W. Waddles, President of our National Baptist Congress of Christian Education of our Convention and pastor of the Zion Hill Baptist Church, Chicago, IL.
Sunday, February 19, 2012: Our Single’s Ministry will be hosting the 3rd Annual "You Are Not Forgotten" pot luck dinner at 4pm. The location is the Spring Manor Clubhouse. All singles that are interested, please sign-up with your favorite dish. Come out for a fun-filled evening - “Living Single with Jesus”. Monday, Feb. 20, 2012: The one day Empire Congress Retreat will be held in Saratoga Springs, NY. The van will leave the church’s parking lot at 6am. Ages 12 and up are welcomed to attend. Feb. 26, 2012 (4 PM):Social Action will host their 25th Annual Black Achievers Program. The guest speaker will be Rev. Fred Mills, pastor of Star of Bethlehem BC in Beacon. This year’s honorees are Janie Busby, Vincent Badgett, Melissa DePailo, Rev. Mildred Moore and our very own Cassandra Diane Ruffin.

March 17, 2012: CHBA Congress of Christian Education Annual Sunday School and Leadership Conference “Equipped for Excellence” will be held at Baptist Temple Church in Newburgh, NY. Conference time is 8:00am – 4:00 pm. Individual registration is $50.00 or groups of 5 or more is $45.00/per person. Early registration deadline is March 5, 2012. June 29 & 30, 2012: The Pearls of Wisdom Ministry is sponsoring an overnight trip to Lancaster PA to see the play, “Jonah”. It will be held at The Sight and Sound Theater. The cost of the trip is $250.00. Payment plan is available. The final payment is due on

Annual Youth Conference in Buffalo, NY: All youth and their families who attend Sunday School and are interested in attending the conference, August 6-11, 2012, are asked to sign up in the vestibule. Group rates will be offered to families with more than 3 in attendance. Young people under 10 must be accompanied by parents. The cost per person is $150.00 (this covers your room, extra stay, and the conference registration). For more information, see Rev. Sara McRae.
Young Women’s Bible Study will meet every Thurs. after the 3rd Sunday at 7pm. Contact Sis. S. MacDonald, or Sis. N. Rhoden.

One Hour of Prayer: All are welcome who would like to participate in 1 hour of prayer on Sunday Mornings. Contact Minister Shelia Butler for your time assignment.
Evangelism Involvement and Participation: Each person is asked to formulate and practice giving your own personal Salvation testimony. Keep working on it until you can give it in about a minute. Get a partner and practice.
All Church Leaders must pick up the Sunday School Study sheets and turn them in each Sunday to your Ministry Leader or the Christian Education office.
